From April 15th to 18th Nordic Voices recorded a whole new CD with fantastic music by Tomás Luis de Victoria. The recording found place in Ris kirke, Oslo, Norway.
Tomás Luis de Victoria (sometimes Italianised as da Vittoria; c.1548 – 27 August 1611) was the most famous composer in 16th-century Spain, and was one of the most important composers of the Counter-Reformation, along with Giovanni Pierluigi da Palestrina and Orlando di Lasso.
The recording will be released in January 2017 on the prestigious Chandos Records – one of the world’s premier calssical record Companies, best known for its ground breaking search for neglected musical gems.
